This cable is primarily used for connecting a common VGA connector on a graphics adapter to
a workstation that uses 3BNC, 4BNC or 5BNC connectors.
|
|
- If you have a 3BNC connector your monitor is sync on green.
You need to connect the following BNC connectors: green wire, blue wire, red wire. Leave the gray and black wires disconnected.
- If you have a 4BNC connector your monitor is composite sync. For composite sync, connect the
green wire, blue wire, red wire, and the horizontal sync wire(usually yellow, white or gray). Leave the vertical sync wire(black wire) disconnected.
- If you have a 5BNC connector your monitor is separate sync. You need to connect the green wire, blue wire, red wire,
and the horizontal sync wire(usually yellow, white, or gray) and the vertical sync wire(usually black).
**** Note **** A separate sync monitor may also be capable of sync on green and composite sync. And if your monitor is composite sync, your monitor
may also be capable of sync on green.
